Diversity points in the exam

Hi,

In the March exam, i practiced an introduction which I was told (by my lecturer) would award me 3 diversity points.

However, i only got one diversity mark in the whole exam and in my script review, they said that they only gave me one so i emailed CIMA. CIMA then came back and told me that they do not offer more than one mark for Diversity in the introduction.

I'm finding that i'm getting conflicting advice. Can someone tell me if it's worth putting more than one D point in the intro?

I was also planning to learn an introduction with 2-3diversity points, thinking i would get atleast that. And thats what our lecturer also said. But its a new information if CIMA doesnt give more than one point for diversity in intro. And we will have to trust that information as its a reply directly from CIMA.
Now have to try and make use of few standard diversity points that may be used in any issue...

Yes you're right.

I'm going to do the same. Diversity is important to get into the exam but i have realised that the most important thing is the Discussion and Recommendation sections.

Moderator1 has made a lot of good points on how to score well with these areas so i would recommend looking these sections up.

This is where i feel that most students pass/fail.

Something like this:
